Earthing

I recently found an article on Earthing and I thought it would be a good idea to share some of that information here;

What is Earthing?
Earthing, or grounding as it is often called, simply means connecting to the Earth’s natural, negative surface charge by being barefoot outside or in bare skin contact with conductive systems indoors while you sleep, relax, or work.
A simple concept, but one with profound impact on the physiology.
Connection with the Earth restores a lost electrical signal to the body that seems to stabilize the complicated circuitry of our essentially-electrical body. Our built-in self-regulating and self-healing mechanisms become more effective. There are head-to-toe improvements. Better blood flow. Less pain and inflammation. More energy. Deeper sleep.  Source: The Earthing Institute.net
When you ground to the electron-enriched earth, an improved balance of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system occurs.

Benefits:
According to emerging research, Earthing can be beneficial in:
  • Reducing inflammation by defusing excess positive electrons
  • Reducing chronic pain
  • Improving Sleep
  • Increasing Energy
  • Lowering stress and promoting calmness by reducing stress hormones.
  • Normalizing biological rhythms including circadian rhythm
  • Improving blood pressure and blood flow
  • Relieving muscle tension and headache
  • Lessens menstrual and female hormone symptoms
  • Speeds healing- used in some places to prevent bed sores
  • Can eliminate jet lag
  • Protecting the body from EMFs
  • Shortens recovery time from injury or athletic activity
  • Reducing or eliminating snoring
  • Helping support adrenal health
