Hypnosis and the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)

Research indicates that 15 to 20% of people in the world are born as highly sensitive. What this mean is that highly sensitive persons (HSP) are born with a more responsive nervous system.  They tend to be more reactive and aware of their surroundings and of other people`s thoughts and feelings and because of the high amounts of information they are constantly receiving, they can become easily overwhelmed by their environment.

So, I thought it would be a good idea to post something about this and to help more people become aware of this personality type.

I do think hypnosis can help HSPs because besides it being useful for reprogram the mind, it’s also great for stress management, self-esteem and to help with inner healing.

But what do you do if there are no hypnotists in your area or if you don`t want to go see a hypnotist at all. Well, to answer this, you would have to be open minded ( if you are a sensitive you will have no problems with this) and look into alternatives such as guided mediations, traditional mediation and even chakra and energy healing.

You can find more information on HSPs in Dr. Elaine Aron`s website http://www.hsperson.com or check out the youtube videos below. (Part one is long but very informative)

Tips for the HSP

1) Create a schedule for your day

2) Make time in your day that is just for you

3) Enjoy the beauty around you

4) Avoid obnoxious places and people

5) Explore your gifts and enjoy them

Skills for Success Workshop

Skills for success is one of the first workshops I wrote for The Success Room because I have a strong believe that being skillful at knowing how to create a goal and how to go about achieving  that goal is very important for a successful life.

To explain this in a different way, it would be unrealistic for you to think that you can just get on a boat hoping to reach Iceland and not set a course for it but instead just hope that the tide will take you to where you want to go.

And just as you would not do something like that, you also should not just have the idea of what you want in mind, but actually properly create the goal and properly plan for it. A person, who fails to do so, may find themselves creating undirected behavior and most likely never getting to where they want to go.

To help you get to where you want to go more easily, this workshop consists of various exercises with one of them using a light form of hypnosis and traveling through your own timeline. It is presently being taught by my partner Chani and I and we always look forward to being a guide, having fun and learning with you. Also, because we firmly believe that your success is our success, you can sign up for our free mentoring program which we have created to help you even further with your goals and outcomes.

We hope we get the chance to see you there and to work with you at a deep level.
